Abstract The study analyzed the current English language teaching/learning materials in line with academic and professional needs interests of diploma theology students. was a descriptive survey that made use mixed-method approach. Thus, researcher employed convergent parallel mixed method design. data were collected using questionnaire, interview, content analysis. participants second third-year students, former as Foriegn Language instructors. All students(112) chosen comprehensive sampling technique, five students who working priests evangelists snowball technique to fill out questionnaire. EFL teachers also for interview. Additionally, skills three units teaching evaluated checklist. reliability questionnaire checked Cronbach Alpha, quantitative analyised SPSS version 22. revealed both perceived they less assist their contexts. Finally, recommended preparing fit
